Dental Smiles 4 Kids Pediatric Dentistry is a pediatric dentist in Astoria, New York. It is listed at 30-21 35th St, Astoria, NY 11103, which places it among the local businesses of Astoria that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Astoria, popular practices book routine cleanings weeks ahead, so call early or ask to be put on a cancellation list; emergency and walk-in clinics are the exception. Across New York, a new-patient exam with X-rays and a cleaning typically runs from about $150 to $350 without insurance, and many offices publish new-patient specials on their websites. Check the listing for hours, whether the office takes your insurance or Medicaid, languages spoken, wheelchair access and parking, then confirm by phone: insurance networks and providers change more often than the listings do.

Astoria is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Astoria follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I love this place I travel from Manhattan to their Astoria location without hesitation. My 7 year old got fillings and was in and out in about 30 minutes. If your child has dentist anxiety this is the place for them. BOOK NOW :)

Y'all going not supposed to come here for your children or parents yo when I went to that place I have to get some cavities covered up and they literally pointed a damn light into my eyes like they didn't give me no special glasses to like nothing and when they numbed it they did not wait until the numb already started and they started drilling like doing something to my teeth I felt the pain when they were doing that and then they said I could not eat anything in 2 hours 2 hours!!!! How is that okay that I cannot eat for 2 hours my favorite chips food nothing and I kept spitting out saliva so it's their fault so if y'all a parent go somewhere else cuz these do not know what they are doing they do not wait for the numbing to start and they do it right away and they have to put in light and can be very dangerous when lights are close to your eyes can risk of you losing eyesightand they do not give you those blue special things to like protect your eyes so if a dentist or a nurse is reading this get it together cuz in 2027 January I have an appointment for cleaning my teeth y'all better know how to not put me to wait 2 hours with no food like I was starving for 2 hours get it togethe

My son had a cavity filled today, and we had a great experience! The dentist and staff were so kind, patient, and made him feel comfortable throughout the entire visit. Everything went smoothly, and he left with a smile. Highly recommend this pediatric dental office!

How does a place like this even stay open? First off, Iβm not some overprotective helicopter parent. My daughter was actually one of those rare kids who LIKED going to the dentist. She walked in without fear. After this experience? Thatβs gone forever. #1 β Zero bedside manner My daughter had a slightly stuffy nose, so apparently the laughing gas wasnβt fully effective. Instead of calmly explaining that or offering solutions, the dentist immediately turned to ME and said, βWhy would you bring your child in if she has a stuffy nose?β Iβm sorryβ¦ Iβm not the dentist here. How exactly am I supposed to know that? The tone was cold, dismissive, and honestly felt more like blame than patient care. #2 β Absolutely no empathy This part still makes me sick thinking about it. The dentist started injecting my child over and over WITHOUT applying numbing gel first. Just jab after jab while my daughter cried and panicked. Even adults would struggle with that. But this is a PEDIATRIC dentist. Your entire profession revolves around making children feel safe and comfortable. Instead, it felt traumatizing and cruel. I understand offices get busy, but being busy is not an excuse to treat children

Dental Smiles for Kids is wonderful. Dr. Amna was absolutely fantastic with my child, who was feeling nervous about getting two cavities filled. She was calm, kind, and incredibly efficient. We were in and out in about 10 minutes, and the whole experience felt smooth and reassuring. So grateful to have found a dentist who combines skill with such a gentle approach. Highly recommend.
